GT vs LSG: Nicholas Pooran gave a fiery reply to Mohammed Siraj's sledging, the video is creating a ruckus

Nicholas Pooran performed brilliantly with the bat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the help of which Lucknow Supergiants defeated Gujarat Titans by 33 runs.

This was Gujarat's fourth defeat in the current season and it had to face its second defeat against Lucknow. In this match, Nicholas Pooran gave a befitting reply to Mohammed Siraj's sledging, the video of which is creating a ruckus on social media.

Puran's sarcastic reply

This moment came in the 16th over of Lucknow's innings when Siraj told Pooran something harsh. The Caribbean batsman showed his aggressive attitude with the bat and hit Siraj's next two balls hard. The left-handed batsman first hit a six over deep midwicket and then hit a four over the bowler's head on the next ball.

After this, Nicholas Pooran gestured a kiss towards the bowler, which was sarcastic, but was a strong reply for the bowler. Simon Dull, who was part of the commentary panel, said at this moment, 'What will you say now?' Siraj quietly walked back.

New record in IPL

Pooran completed his half-century in just 23 balls. In this way, he completed his fifty in less than 25 balls for the fifth time in the current season, which created a new record in IPL history. Pooran had scored a strong half-century against Gujarat last month, after which he was struggling with poor form.

What did Pooran say

Puran said while talking to the broadcaster during the innings break, 'This happens. Unfortunately, I did not live up to the standard. I accepted it and tried to take full advantage of the opportunity I got.'

Let us tell you that based on Puran's (56*) record-breaking half-century and Mitchell Marsh's first IPL century, Lucknow made its third-best IPL score. Lucknow made a score of 235/2. In reply, Gujarat's team could make a score of 202/9 in 20 overs. With this, Gujarat's hopes of being in the top-2 got a big blow.
