He said, 'The new construction being done for developed India is continuously expanding. Projects are being inaugurated in every corner of the country, new schemes are being started. If I talk about the year 2024 only, then in these 75 days, projects worth more than Rs 11 lakh crore have been inaugurated and the foundation stone has been laid. In the last 10-12 days alone, projects worth more than Rs 7 lakh crore have been inaugurated and foundation stones laid.
PM Modi said that even today the country has taken a huge step towards a developed India. In this program today, projects worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore were inaugurated and the foundation stone was laid. Of these, the country has today received railway projects worth more than Rs 85 thousand crores.
India is a young country
He said, 'India is a young country, a large number of youth live here. I especially want to tell my young friends that the inauguration today is for your present, and the foundation stone laid today has brought the guarantee of your bright future.
He further said, 'Before 2014, there were 6 North East states in the country whose capital was not connected to the railways of our country. In 2014, there were more than 10 thousand unmanned railway crossings in the country, and accidents used to occur there frequently. In 2014, only 35% of rail lines were electrified. The doubling of railway lines was not the priority of the earlier governments.
Railway budget increased six times
Prime Minister Modi said that the development of railways is one of the top priorities of our government. We have increased the average railway budget in 10 years by six times more than before 2014.
He said, 'Today I am guaranteeing the country that in the next five years you will see such a transformation of Indian Railways that you would not have even imagined. This day is living proof of this willpower. The network of Vande Bharat trains has now reached more than 250 districts of the country. Respecting public sentiments, the government is continuously increasing the routes of Vande Bharat trains. The rejuvenation of railways is also a guarantee of developed India.

He further said, 'I am happy that today Indian Railways is promoting tourism related to regional culture and faith while realizing the mantra of 'Development also - Heritage also'. Today, Bharat Gaurav trains are running on the Ramayana Circuit, Gurukripa Circuit, and Jain Yatra in the country. Not only this, the Aastha special train is taking Shri Ram devotees from every corner of the country to Ayodhya. Till now, about 350 Aastha trains have run and through these, more than four and a half lakh devotees have visited Ramlala in Ayodhya. Indian Railways will continue to move forward at the pace of modernity and this is Modi's guarantee.
