While addressing the people of Sikkim, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. He said that Pakistan has understood that it cannot compete with India. In 'Operation Sindoor', it has seen what India can do.
PM Modi was praising the tourism diversity of Sikkim on the completion of 50 years. During this, he mentioned Pahalgam. He said, 'All of you people of Sikkim know and understand the power of tourism very well. Tourism is not just entertainment, it is a celebration of diversity, but what the terrorists did in Pahalgam, was not just an attack on Indians. It was an attack on the soul of humanity, an attack on the feeling of brotherhood.'
PM Modi said, 'The terrorists snatched away the happiness of many of our families. They also conspired to divide us Indians. Today the whole world is seeing that India is more united today than ever before. We united and gave a clear message to the terrorists and their patrons. We gave a befitting reply to the terrorists with 'Operation Sindoor'.
He said that Pakistan, enraged by the destruction of the terrorist base, tried to attack our civilians and soldiers, but Pakistan's secret was revealed in that too. We destroyed many of their airbases and showed what India can do and when. How fast it can do it, how accurately it can do it.
Know about Operation Sindoor
India carried out precise attacks on terrorist bases under 'Operation Sindoor' on 7 May. This action was taken in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. After this, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on 8, 9, and 10 May, to which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply. In this retaliation, many military bases in Pakistan were damaged, including air bases, radar sites, and command centers. Panicked by this, Pakistan proposed a ceasefire to India on 10 May, which was implemented by both countries after a mutual discussion.
