Politics of Halal and Jhatka meat has now started in Maharashtra. State Fisheries Minister Nitesh Rane has released a website to start Malhar certification for Jhatka meat, in which this meat will be available only through the Hindu Khatik community. This exercise of Rane is being considered as a new campaign against Halal meat, in which only Hindus can do business in it.

Announcement of starting 'Malhar Certification', what is its purpose?

Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane said that the announcement of starting 'Malhar Certification' has been made with the aim of certifying 'Jhatka' mutton shops run exclusively by members of the Hindu community. These shops will be run 100 percent by Hindus. He appealed to the people to buy meat from such certified shops.

Although the constituent parties of the Mahayuti government do not agree on Rane's 'Malhar certification', Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske has supported it. At the same time, NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar said that Malhar Certification is a private company. If this is the government's plan, then it should be announced.
