The Supreme Court has given a big decision regarding stray dogs in Delhi. The court has ordered that all stray dogs of eight weeks of age should be caught and kept in special shelters. The Supreme Court has given this decision after the increasing attacks by dogs. After this decision of the Supreme Court, people who love animals are giving their opinion. Raveena Tandon loves animals. Talking to HT City, she said, 'It is wrong to blame these poor dogs for the increasing number of stray dogs. If the local bodies had carried out the vaccination and sterilization campaign properly, this situation would not have arisen. The local bodies will have to take responsibility for the stray dogs in their area. Sterilization is the biggest need today.'

 

Supreme Court's order regarding dogs

 

Keep in mind that the bench of Supreme Court judges JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan ordered that no person or organization will be allowed to create a hindrance in catching stray dogs and putting them in special shelters. If anyone does this, contempt action will be taken against them. The Supreme Court has also ordered that a helpline number should be issued to deal with stray dogs in Delhi. The dog should be caught after the complaint.
