According to 'Newsweek magazine, Zelensky says in this documentary - the day is not far when Putin's close ones will start working against him. There will be a voice against him in Russia. This statement of Zelensky has come at a time when it is being claimed in some media reports that some close to Putin is not happy with the policies of Ukraine and the rest of the country. Their displeasure is increasing due to the prolongation of the Ukraine war.

 

Putin will be killed before October 7

Lya Ponomarev, a Russian opposition leader living in Ukraine, claimed last month that Putin would be killed before October 7 this year. This leader, who has been a staunch opponent of Putin, has said that the Russian President will not be able to celebrate his 71st birthday under any circumstances. According to him, a conspiracy is being hatched to assassinate Putin and the people who are very close to him will be responsible for his death.

 

Before this, Western and especially American media have claimed many times that the Russian President has serious diseases like cancer and Parkinson's and he can go into a coma at any time. However, the Russian government has always rejected these claims.

 

Who is Lia Ponomareva?

 

Ponomarev has been considered one of Russia's most capable and responsible leaders. He was an MP from 2007 to 2016. He was identified as an MP and opposition leader who opposed many of Putin's wrong policies on every platform.

 

The special thing is that in 2014, when Russia invaded and occupied Crimea, a large part of Ukraine, Ponomarev was the only MP who openly opposed this move in the Parliament and termed it as an oppression of small countries.

 

Since then, Ponomarev started knocking on the eyes of Putin and the army. He was arrested several times and kept in jail for months. In 2016, he left Russia and moved to Ukraine, and later acquired citizenship there.

 

Putin is making false claims

 

In an interview given to the American magazine 'Newsweek', Ponomarev spoke in detail on many important issues. Said- Russia is making false claims regarding the victory over Ukraine. No part of Ukraine is 100% controlled by Putin's army. They were badly defeated in Kyiv, Kherson and Kharkiv.

 

Ponomarev said- Yes, it is a fact that Putin has been identified as a person who is considered almost impossible to win. It must also be admitted here that 2022 proved to be a bad year for Putin and Russia. I have said earlier also and still stand by my point that Putin will not be able to celebrate his next birthday.

 

Ponomarev also said – I want to meet him in The Hague city of Netherlands, but it does not seem that the meeting will be possible now. His close people will kill him even before he goes there. Ponomarev hints that Putin will soon be tried for war crimes in the International Criminal Court in The Hague and it will be possible to meet him there.

 

Democracy is necessary for Russia

Ponomarev is one of those leaders who want Russia to be a true democracy. For this, he had met some leaders in Poland in the past. They want a new and democratic constitution of Russia to be prepared.

 

Ponomarev said- We want Putin himself to take initiative for democracy and for this many liberal leaders of Russia are ready to help him. For this, he will have to relinquish power first and also hold talks with the western countries. If this does not happen, there will once again be a bloody revolution in Russia.
