Interacting with members of the fishing community in Kerala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that renaming Kerala as Keralam is a moment of joy for the "Malayali" brothers. The fishermen community's role during the 2018 floods in Kerala was commendable. The Dheevara Sabha has been working for the rights of fishermen for over 50 years.
