Congress's Counterattack on Jan Akrosh Yatra
Karnataka BJP has started a 16-day Jan Akrosh Yatra against the state government from Monday. Under this Jan Akrosh Yatra, Karnataka BJP leaders will protest across the state and will try to corner the Congress government on issues like inflation, giving four percent reservation to Muslims and allegedly diverting the funds of SC and ST category. Now when the central government announced the increase in the prices of LPG cylinders on Monday, the Congress government of Karnataka also got a chance to corner the BJP.
Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar took a dig at the BJP in a video message and said, "Greetings to all my BJP colleagues. You all are taking out Jan Akrosh Yatra, but at the same time the central government has increased the prices of petrol, diesel and gas. So now your Jan Akrosh Yatra should be against the BJP. I congratulate all of you for taking out Jan Akrosh Yatra against the BJP."
