In the order given to Pune Police, the Center has said that it should be found out whether Pooja Khedkar's parents Manorama Khedkar and Dilip Khedkar were divorced. The Center has ordered them to be informed about their marital status. Pooja is accused of manipulating and cheating in the physical disability and Other Backward Classes (OBC) quota to pass the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination.

Meanwhile, trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, who made headlines for committing fraud to become an IAS, has not been traced for the last five days. Pooja has been missing since the Delhi Police FIR. Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administrative Academy in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand had summoned her on July 23, but there is no information about her reaching Mussoorie, nor does the Pune Police have any information about her.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said that at present, he has no information about Pooja as to where she is. Her phone is also switched off. According to locals, there was a commotion at Pooja's house in Pune on July 20-21. But it could not be known whether Pooja was in her house or not. Pooja had accused Pune District Magistrate Suhas Diwas of molestation. Pune Police gave notice twice to record her statement in this case, but she did not appear. Sources say that she is not in Pune. Delhi Police may also issue a notice to Pooja to join the investigation soon.
