Katra Hotel and Restaurant Association President Rakesh Wazir asked to avoid alcohol consumption to maintain the sanctity of Mata Vaishno Devi. On the allegation of Ori consuming alcohol, he said that you should avoid consuming alcohol at this place.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, an FIR was registered against eight people including social media influencer Ori for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra. Jammu and Kashmir Police had registered a case against Ori for consuming alcohol at the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Katra. A Russian citizen was also among the eight people. According to the law, consumption of alcohol and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited in this pilgrimage area.
