What did the hotel owner say?

 

Katra Hotel and Restaurant Association President Rakesh Wazir asked to avoid alcohol consumption to maintain the sanctity of Mata Vaishno Devi. Also, Rakesh told ANI that alcohol is banned in Katra and garlic and onion are not used in vegetables here. On the allegation of Ori consuming alcohol, he said that you should avoid consuming alcohol at this place.

 

What is the allegation on Ori?

 

According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, an FIR was registered against eight people including social media influencer Ori for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra. Jammu and Kashmir Police had registered a case against Ori for consuming alcohol at the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Katra. A Russian citizen was also among the eight people. According to the law, consumption of alcohol and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited in this pilgrimage area.

During his religious visit to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan, Ori shared some pictures, which became the reason for his arrest. This happened after an Instagram post by Ori. Ori had shared his picture of consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra with fans on social media. After this, an FIR was registered against him.
