Pune Porsche case: Why did the problems of the minor accused's father and grandfather increase, in which case another case was registered?

In the Pune Porsche case of Maharashtra, Pune Police has registered another case against the minor accused's father, grandfather, and three others at Chandannagar Police Station. Local businessman DS Kature had complained to the minor accused's father, grandfather, and three others. He held the accused's father-grandfather and three others responsible for his son's suicide.

 

Minor accused's father-grandfather accused of instigating suicide

 

According to the complaint lodged at the police station, DS Kature's son Shashikant had taken a loan for his business, but he was unable to repay it. Unable to repay the loan, accused Vinay Kale constantly harassed him, after which he committed suicide in January. After the suicide, the police registered a case against accused Vinay Kale under sections 306 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

 

A senior Pune police official said, "During the investigation of the Pune Porsche case, Vinay Kale's father approached the police, in which the role of the minor's father, grandfather, and three others came to light in instigating Shashikant to commit suicide." Pune Police registered a case against the accused's father, grandfather, and three others for abetting suicide. Along with this, sections 420 and 34 were also added. At present, the investigation of the case is going on.

 

In the Pune Porsche case, the father of the minor accused is already in police custody on charges of changing the blood sample. At the same time, the grandfather has been kept in judicial custody on charges of forcing his driver to take full responsibility for the crime to save the minor accused.

 

What is the Pune Porsche case?

 

On the intervening night of 18-19 May in Pune city, a 17-year-old boy hit a bike while driving a Porsche car worth about three crore rupees at high speed. The impact of the vehicle was so strong that the bike lost its balance and kept dragging on the road for a long distance, due to which two people riding on it died on the spot.
