Rahul Gandhi: 'Truth can be erased in Modi's world, but not in reality', Rahul Gandhi on the deleted parts of his speech

During the Lok Sabha session, some part of the speech of Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi was removed by the Lok Sabha Speaker. Angered by this, Rahul took a dig at PM Modi and said that truth can be erased in Modi's world, but not in reality.

 

The first parliamentary session of the 18th Lok Sabha has begun. On Monday, Rahul Gandhi presented his views as the Leader of the Opposition. This was the first time in ten years that the Leader of the Opposition presented his views in Parliament in this manner. During Rahul Gandhi's speech, top BJP leaders also lodged objections. After his speech, the Home Minister also urged for a fact-check. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP leaders and BJP schemes in his speech. Rahul Gandhi openly protested against schemes like Agniveer. At the same time, he accused the ruling BJP of dividing the people on a communal basis. He also said that he included many issues including discrimination against farmers, irregularities in examinations, and inflation in his speech.

 

There was also a huge protest in the ruling party on one of Rahul Gandhi's comments. However, later some parts of his speech were deleted by the Lok Sabha Speaker. On this, Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday "Whatever I had to say, I have said and this is the truth. They can erase as much as they want, but truth will prevail." He said that truth can be erased in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's world, but not in reality. This was said a few hours after the Speaker deleted important parts of his speech in the Lok Sabha.
