The death of Assamese singer Zubin Garg while scuba diving in Singapore has shocked everyone. He passed away on September 19th, after which his body was brought to Assam, and a crowd of fans gathered in Guwahati to pay their last respects. Now, before his funeral, his footprints have been preserved, ensuring his musical legacy will live on.

Singer's Footprints Preserved

Artist Diganta Bharati created an immortal memorial of his footprints, built in his home, Kahilipara. This memorial will not only immortalize his musical legacy but will also inspire generations to come. His footprints have now become a lasting memory of his music, reflecting his musical contributions and his importance to Assam and the entire country.

Singer's Postmortem Being Conducted Again

Before the funeral, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Kumar Biswa announced a second postmortem on the singer. He said that the second postmortem will be conducted tomorrow morning at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). A team from AIIMS, Guwahati, will also be present. He said the family has given their consent to this process. Sarma said the death certificate sent from Singapore states drowning as the cause of death, which is different from the post-mortem report.
