Former Indian cricketer and Rajya Sabha MP Harbhajan Singh has said that the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be an important occasion. He urged people to participate in large numbers and seek blessings during the program.
In an interview on Friday, Bhajji said, 'My heartiest greetings to the people of the country. Pran Pratishtha is approaching and I encourage more and more people to participate in the ceremony and seek blessings. This is a historic day. Lord Rama is a deity of all and, significantly, a temple is being built at his birthplace. Everyone should be a part of this.
Harbhajan congratulated Prime Minister Modi
Confirming his intention to visit the temple, Harbhajan said, 'I am a devout follower of religion and God. I go to temples, mosques, and gurudwaras to seek blessings. Whenever I get a chance, I will visit the temple. It is a matter of good fortune that the temple is being inaugurated in our lifetime. I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whose leadership this temple is being built.
Bhajji's reply to the opposition party's allegations
The Congress party had alleged that the BJP was using the temple function for political purposes. In response to this, Bhajji said, 'Who says what, it is a different matter, but the true thing is that this temple is going to be built, it is the good fortune of all of us that these things are happening in our times. We should go there, and seek blessings. I would only say that whether anyone goes or not, due to my faith in God, which is my one belief, I will go.
'If anyone has any problem with my leaving...'
Bhajji said- Whether one goes to the party or not, this is my stand, which believes in God. Congress has to go, it doesn't have to go, it doesn't have to go. Anyone who wants to go can go, if anyone doesn't want to go, don't go. If anyone has any problem with my leaving, then let them do whatever they want, because I am a person who believes in God. Whatever things are happening in my life, whatever I am, it is by the grace of God and I will go to seek blessings.
