Dilshad, a trader in the Guddi market, told that ten to fifteen days before the commencement of Ramzan, they start making sewai and other items. The demand increases when Ramzan starts, for which goods stock has to be kept. He told that apart from the Guddi market, a large amount of Siwai, Khajla, and other items are made in different areas.
Moon will be seen on March 22
Naib Shahrkaji Zainur Rashiddin told that the month of Ramzan may start on March 23. Devotees will see the moon of Ramzan on March 22. If the moon is not visible, there will be a meeting of the Moon Committee at Guddi Bazar. Other Ulama including Shahrkazi Professor Janus Sajiddin Siddiqui will participate in this. He will contact other big Islamic institutions including Darul Uloom Deoband, Delhi Makraj, and Lucknow. If the moon sighting is confirmed anywhere in the country, then Ramzan will start on the 23rd. In case of non-sighting of the moon, the moon will be sighted on March 23 and then from March 24, it will be Ramadan.
