Why are Pravesh and Vijender Gupta lagging?

Pravesh Verma, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal, and former leader of the opposition Vijender Gupta were considered the strongest contenders for the post of Chief Minister.

It is said that Verma was not made the Chief Minister so there is no allegation of nepotism. Rekha Gupta was given preference over Vijender Gupta. Because making him the Chief Minister will help in appeasing women along with Vaishya.

He said that in her long public life, she has paid special attention to important issues like education, women empowerment, and urban development.
