At the beginning of October, the Railways made some changes to ticket booking rules, which will benefit passengers. Furthermore, changes in LPG gas cylinder prices will also affect you. Changes in Railway Ticket Booking Rules

A new change in railway ticket booking rules has come into effect today.

Under this new change, only those with Aadhaar verification will be able to book tickets within the first 15 minutes of reservations opening.

 

These rules apply to ticket bookings through both the app and IRCTC.

 

 

Changes in NPS Rules

Emerging today, the rules related to the National Pension System (NPS) have also changed.

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority has implemented a new rule for the Multiple Scheme Framework.

Under this, non-government sector subscribers will now be able to invest in multiple schemes under a single PAN or PRAN.

 

 

UPI

Emerging today, the rules related to UPI have also changed.

You will no longer be able to directly ask for money from anyone on the UPI app.

UPI has discontinued the P2P facility.

NPCI has taken this decision in view of increasing fraud.

Not only this, you can now transfer up to ₹5 lakh using UPI; previously, this limit was ₹1 lakh.

 

 

LPG Gas Prices

People have been hit by inflation before Dussehra and Diwali.

In Delhi, a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder used to cost ₹1580, but now its price has increased to ₹1595.50.

The price of a 19 kg LPG commercial gas cylinder has increased by ₹15.50.

There has been no change in the price of a domestic LPG cylinder.
