Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in New Delhi for the RSS centenary celebrations. He also released a commemorative stamp and coin on the occasion. He stated that the RSS has shaped the lives of many people.

PM Modi said, "Today, the Government of India has issued special postage stamps and commemorative coins to commemorate the RSS's glorious 100-year journey. The 100-rupee coin features the national emblem on one side and a magnificent image of Bharat Mata in a varada mudra with a lion on the other."

Congratulations to the people of the country on Mahanavami

The PM said, "It is the good fortune of our generation of volunteers that we are witnessing such a great occasion as the RSS's centenary year. On this occasion, I extend my best wishes and congratulations to the millions of volunteers dedicated to national service. I pay my respects to the founder of the RSS, our ideal, the most revered Dr. Hedgewar ji."

Today is Mahanavami. Today is the day of Goddess Siddhidatri. I extend Navratri greetings to all my countrymen. Tomorrow is the great festival of Vijayadashami—the victory of justice over injustice, the victory of truth over falsehood, the victory of light over darkness. - Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The Prime Minister said, "Vijayadashami is a timeless proclamation of this idea and belief of Indian culture. The establishment of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh 100 years ago on such a great festival was no coincidence. It was the revival of a tradition that has existed for thousands of years, in which national consciousness manifests itself in new incarnations from time to time to meet the challenges of that era. In this era, the Sangh is the virtuous incarnation of that eternal national consciousness."
