India's star wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant, made his national comeback on Thursday in the unofficial Test match against South Africa A.

Pant stepped onto the field wearing Virat Kohli's jersey number 18, not his own, but instead his own jersey number 17. Pant was seriously injured in the Manchester Test against England. A ball from Chris Woakes struck his leg, causing swelling. Having recovered from this injury, Pant is now leading India A.

Pant can be heard saying on the stump mic, "There aren't many fielders on the off-side, keep bowling, there's no one of our own. Put it on the stump for a while, no problem. Let it hit. Okay, okay, don't get tensed, bowl with relaxation." Well done, try to find the rhythm, it will come in a couple of overs, don't worry.

On the other hand, Pant tells left-arm spinner Manav Suthar, "Hey brother, this is it, this is it, try bowling six balls, it will be fun."
