Russia Ukraine War: Russia fired more than 120 missiles on Ukrainian cities, Ukrainian missile fell in Belarus

Ukrainian officials allege that Russia Thursday fired more than 120 missiles at other cities including the capital Kyiv and Kharkiv. These included air- and sea-launched long-range guided cruise missiles. Ukraine's Air Force said that Russia also carried out drone attacks overnight. Presidential adviser Mikhailo Podolyak said that after the rapid missile attacks, people were alerted through sirens across the country.

 

Kyiv's military administration said in a telegram message that the Russian attack damaged two private residences in the city and wounded three people. Businesses and sports grounds have also been damaged. 17 missiles have been fired in Kyiv. Mayer of Lviv said that 90 percent of the city's area in western Ukraine is without electricity. Explosions were also heard in Zytamir and Odessa. Emergency workers in Kyiv are working to clear the rubble of buildings so that anyone trapped inside can be evacuated as quickly as possible. In the video footage, missiles can be seen hovering in the sky of the capital. The powerhouse was destroyed in the missile attack on Kharkiv.

 

The Ukrainian military claimed that the assault by Russian forces began at 7:00 a.m. local time. 69 missiles were fired continuously from Russia, out of which 54 were destroyed by Ukraine. Valery Zalujny, the top general of the Ukrainian army, wrote, 'This morning the attacker attacked power stations and other installations located in the eastern, central, western and southern regions of our country with air and sea-based cruise missiles, anti-aircraft guided missiles and S-300 ADMS. Attacked. He also attacked with kamikaze drones. Russia has recently rejected Ukraine's 10-point peace proposal. Moscow says no peace proposal can be implemented in Kyiv until it accepts four Ukrainian territories conquered by Russia.

 

Ukrainian missile fell in Belarus

 

Belarus' official news agency BeltEA has claimed that the S-300 air defense missile fired by Ukraine fell in its country during the Russian attack. The agency has also released a picture of the missile, which is lying in an empty field. Subsequently, the Foreign Ministry of Belarus summoned the ambassador of Ukraine and formally protested.
