The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand today i.e. on Friday. It rained in Varanasi including Lucknow on Thursday evening. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in these areas on Friday is likely to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 11 degrees.
Fog may persist in Delhi till December 13
The Meteorological Department has said that till December 13, there may be light fog in the morning in Delhi. The air quality in the capital remained in the poor category on Thursday also. According to the Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research System, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 276 in Delhi yesterday.
Delhi's air remains suffocating
Meanwhile, on Thursday, AQI was recorded in the 'very poor' category in some areas of Delhi. According to CPCB data, at 8 am on Thursday, AQI was 348 in Anand Vihar, 313 in ITO, and 323 in the Ashok Vihar area, but till Friday morning, these figures have increased the tension in the capital. An AQI of 377 was recorded in Anand Vihar, while in Ali Nagar this figure reached 391.
Rain in Northeast India in the coming 24 hours
Meanwhile, according to the Central Pollution Control Board, AQI was recorded at 284 in Ghaziabad, 279 in Noida, 288 in Greater Noida, 285 in Faridabad, and 235 in Gurugram. Apart from this, Skymet Weather has said that there may be rain in Northeast India in the coming 24 hours. At the same time, in the next 48 hours, there may be light to moderate rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, and Assam with heavy rain in some places.
