Western countries are taking personal action against President Vladimir Putin for besieging Russia in the Ukraine war. Because of this, Canada has banned 14 people, including both Putin's daughters. According to a report by Global Affairs Canada, the Trudeau government has also announced sanctions on some Russian billionaires, including the wife of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Putin's daughters.
