Russia-Ukraine War Updates: the US to give military aid of Rs 6,000 crore to Ukraine; Russia bans 398 US lawmakers

50 days have passed since the Ukrainian war. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has approved military aid of $ 800 million (about Rs 6,089 crore) for Ukraine. This aid being given to deal with the Russian attack includes artillery, armored vehicles and helicopters.

 

At the same time, Russia has put 398 members of the US Parliament on the travel ban list. The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that Russian lawmakers were banned by the US last month. In response, Russia has taken this decision. Apart from this, Russia has also imposed sanctions on 87 members of the Canadian Senate.

 

Russia has said that more American citizens will be included in this list in the coming time. The US announced sanctions on March 24 against 328 members of the 450-seat Russian Parliament Duma.

France to provide additional military aid to Ukraine

 

French Defense Minister Florence Parly said on Wednesday that France would provide additional military aid to Ukraine. This aid is being given on the demand of Ukraine. France has already provided Ukraine with military equipment worth 100 million euros. However, no information has been given about what will be included in this additional military aid.

 

Presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia visit Borodienka

 

The presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia visited Borodienka, 40 kilometers northwest of Kyiv. The population of this city is 12,000. They called for increased military support for Ukraine and that Russia be held accountable for the attack. Presidents of all four countries will reach Kyiv to meet Zelensky.
