Pitroda answered the question of PM Modi and Trump.
"I don't understand the threat from China. I think the issue is often exaggerated because the US tends to define the enemy. I believe the time has come for all countries to cooperate, not confront." His answer came on the question of whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump would be able to control the threats from China."
Slamming Sam Pitroda's statement, the BJP said the Congress' obsession with China has its roots in the 2008 Memorandum of Understanding between the Congress and the Chinese Communist Party.
