History was made last night when 14-year-old Indian American student Harini Logan won the title in her first spell-off match at the 2022 Scripps National Spelling Bee. She missed four words in a tough match against Vikram Raju, but there was one word in her that won her the title. Harini spelled 21 words out of 26 correctly, while Vikram spelled 15 out of 19 words correctly.
