Suryakumar Yadav, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma scored half-centuries as India beat the Netherlands by 56 runs to register their second successive win in the T20 World Cup on Thursday. With this win, India's chances of reaching the semi-finals have increased. Batting first, India set a target of 180 runs in front of the Netherlands. In reply, the Netherlands team could score only 123 runs. One incident caught everyone's attention during the Netherlands innings. ICC has shared a video on its social media, in which an Indian fan is seen proposing to his girlfriend. Sharing the post, ICC wrote the caption, "He said yes."

 

In the video shared by ICC, the Indian fan was seen wearing a ring while sitting on his knee and during this, the girl said yes. The broadcasters telecasting the match captured the touching moment on the big screen. India's fans are coming in large numbers to support the team in the T20 World Cup matches being held in Australia.

 

India beat the Netherlands by 56 runs in a one-sided encounter on Thursday, thanks to the brilliant bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (9/2) after their fifties from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav.

 

Batting first in the Super-12 match, India scored 179 runs for the loss of two wickets. In reply, the Netherlands could only manage 123 runs for the loss of nine wickets. With the second win in two matches, India has moved up to the top of the Group 2 table.
