Dube hit a 107-meter six over mid-wicket on the first ball of the over. Hardik then hit a 109-meter six on the third ball of the over.
Yuvraj Singh holds the record for the longest six in T20 World Cup history. He hit a 119-meter six against Australia in the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007. Despite changes in technique, fitness, and batting, no one has been able to surpass this record. England's Liam Livingstone is in second place with a 112-meter six, and former West Indies star all-rounder Andre Russell is in third place with a 111-meter six. Livingstone did this against South Africa in the 2021 World Cup, and Russell did this against Australia in the 2021 World Cup.

Pakistan's Iftikhar Ahmed, West Indies' Odean Smith, and England's Phil Salt are tied for sixth place with a 106-meter six.
