Gurgaon, Jan 21 (IANS) Security at two Gurgaon five-star hotels, where US President Barack Obama's staff will stay, has been beefed up, police said Wednesday.
The hotels are in the Udyog Vihar area adjoining the national capital.
"Over two hundred policemen of different ranks have been deputed at each of the hotels. Policemen and commandos in uniforms and civil dress, armed with AK-47 and AK-56 rifles, will look after the security in two shifts," a police officer told IANS.
He said 150 rooms (in both the hotels) have been booked for the Americans.
Police Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk said police were put on high alert.
