Adelaide, Feb 6 (IANS) Indian team director Ravi Shastri and vice-captain Virat Kohli rejuvenated themselves ahead of the World Cup by indulging in yoga and massage.
They headed to Authenticity Health and Wellness Retreat at Port Elliot, South Australia, for some much needed rest and relaxation, enjoying yoga and massage throughout the week.
“It’s been nothing short of amazing. Just the ambience here, it’s so positive, yet it’s so relaxed,” Shastri was quoted as saying by news.com.au Friday.
“The two months in Australia were draining mentally. We needed some time off and this has been brilliant for the boys, it will sharpen them up -- mentally even more than physically.”
While Kohli and Shastri tried their hands at yoga, other members of the squad enjoyed themselves at a boot camp (adventure camp).
India play their first match of the World Cup here Feb 15 against arch-rivals Pakistan.
