Rituraj Gaikwad, Mukesh Kumar, and Suryakumar Yadav have been selected as standby players. Fast bowlers Jaydev Unadkat and Umesh Yadav are also injured. The BCCI medical team is monitoring the injury of both. The Indian team will take on Australia in the final match to be held from June 7 to 11. This match will be played at The Oval in England.
Team India currently has only one wicketkeeper, KS Bharat. Rahul also does the keeping, but he is not on the team. In such a situation, Ishaan has been selected as an additional wicket-keeper batsman. Kishan has a lot of experience in first-class cricket. The left-handed batsman has scored 2985 runs in 48 first-class matches at an average of 38.76. Kishan is yet to play in a Test match. He was selected for the series against Australia, but he could not join the playing-11.
