The epicenter of the earthquake was in Tajikistan, 265 km from Faizabad in Afghanistan. After this, on February 26, earthquake tremors were felt in Faizabad, Afghanistan. Whose intensity was 4.3 and the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 180 km.
