Shivaji Jayanti: Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to Shivaji Maharaj; many Congress leaders also remembered him.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is revered in Maharashtra. Today is his birth anniversary. On this occasion, leaders from the Prime Minister to others are paying tribute to him and recalling stories of his valor. The Maratha warrior king was born in 1630 in Shivneri, located in the Junnar tehsil of Pune district. On this occasion, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Shivneri Fort in Pune on his birth anniversary.

 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on Instagram, "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj always placed the welfare of the people above all else and dedicated himself to their protection. Therefore, his life remains a guiding light for India even today."

 

 

On this occasion, party leaders, including the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, paid tribute to him. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wrote on Instagram, "Respectful tributes to the epitome of valor, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, on his birth anniversary." Shivaji Maharaj is a unique symbol of valor, foresight, and just leadership. His philosophy and courage inspire us to fight against injustice even today.

 

 

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote, "Tributes to the mighty warrior, the epitome of extraordinary courage and valor, the founder of the Maratha Empire, a skilled administrator, and a source of inspiration for India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, on his birth anniversary."

 

 

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote, "Tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the epitome of valor, valor, courage, public welfare, and justice, on his birth anniversary. Shivaji Maharaj showed the country the path of social justice, generosity, and religious harmony. His ideals will continue to inspire generations to come."
