After the trailer launch of Sikandar, Salman Khan talked to many media houses about his most awaited action drama film. In an exclusive interview with News18, when he was asked about the clash of his 'Sikander' and Mohanlal's L:2 Empuraan, Dabangg Khan replied,
"I like Mohanlal sir very much as an actor. Prithviraj is directing this film, so I am sure that this film will be great".

So far, more than 91 thousand tickets of Sikandar have been sold online, due to which the film has earned a total of 2.58 crores even before its release. It is expected that Sikandar will do a business of more than 7 crores before its release on March 30.
On the other hand, the booking of 'L2: Empuraan' has created a new history. According to reports, Mohanlal's film 'Empuraan' is the first Malayalam movie to sell more than 1 million tickets and the film has already earned 60 crores before its release.
