Meanwhile, the Indian Physicians' Association (IMA) reported that 270 doctors have died due to infection in the second wave of the global pandemic Covid-19. The list also includes the name of Dr. KK Aggarwal, former president of IMA, who died of an infection on Monday.

According to the IMA Covid-19 registration, 748 doctors died of an infection in the first wave of the global pandemic. Thus far 1018 doctors have died due to coronavirus infection. Dr. JA Jayalal, President of the IMA said, 'Last year, 748 physicians died from Covid-19 in India and we have lost 270 doctors in such a short period in the current wave. The second wave of the global pandemic is proving to be extremely deadly for all, especially for health workers who are deployed on the front lines.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 263,533 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this period, 4,329 people died. Due to the increasing outbreak of infection, India is second only to the United States after the US in infected countries around the world. The total number of infected people in the country has exceeded 25 million and the total death toll is 278,719. These include more than a thousand doctors.
