
Members of Congress and opposition parties once again created a ruckus on several issues including the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid in the 'National Herald' case, inflation, and GST. Due to this, the sitting of the Lok Sabha on Wednesday has adjourned again till 2 pm after a one-time adjournment.

Let us tell you that after the one-time adjournment, when the proceedings of the House started at noon, the opposition members started shouting slogans. Many members reached near the seat. Presiding Chairman Rajendra Agrawal got the necessary papers laid on the Table of the House amid the noise. Energy Minister RK Singh introduced the 'Energy Conservation (Amendment) Bill, 2022' in the House amid the uproar.
Adhir Ranjan demands discussion on 'National Herald'
Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury tried to raise the issue of ED's raids on the premises of 'National Herald' in the House, however, he was not allowed by the chair. Agarwal appealed to the opposition members to go to their places and allow Zero Hour to continue. When the commotion did not stop, he adjourned the proceedings of the house till 2 pm at around 12.10 pm.
Earlier, when the proceedings of the House began this morning, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha started the Question Hour. Meanwhile, the opposition members, including the Congress, started raising slogans and shouting on various issues. Some members were expressing dissatisfaction over the government's reply on the issue of GST and inflation on essential commodities. While Congress members were shouting slogans near the plinth, DMK members were standing at their places.
Amidst the noise, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve answered supplementary questions of some members. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla adjourned the proceedings till noon, about 15 minutes after the commencement of the ruckus.
