Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabri said, 'As far as I know, we have not allowed the Chinese ship to come to Sri Lanka in October. Indian security agencies have expressed concern about this, which is right and very important for us too. We have always said that we want to keep our area safe. Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also said that an SOP has been made for foreign ships to come to Sri Lanka and carry out any activity in the area.

As long as things go according to our SOP, we have no problem, but if the SOP is violated, we will have a problem. Ali Sabri said that Sri Lanka did not allow the Chinese ship to stop but he also said that talks are still going on.
