The baby girl was born in a rural hospital in the state of Nuevo Leon in northeastern Mexico. The mother's delivery was not done in a normal way, but through a cesarean. The parents already have a son, who is leading a normal life.

After a thorough examination, the doctors found that the tail was also completely healthy. After this, it was decided to do surgery on the girl. In the operation, the tail was removed from the body by Limburg plasty.

The vestigial tail is called such a tail, which shows the development of mankind. It has a bone inside the tail. On the other hand, such a tail is called a true tail, which does not have a bone. It consists only of tissue and fat. This tail is rare. So far only 40 cases have been reported worldwide. Earlier in the year 2021, a child was born in Brazil with such a tail.
