TCS Nashik Row: Is Nida Khan Pregnant? Approaches Court for Anticipatory Bail; CM Fadnavis Calls It a 'Pre-planned Module'

Posted on 17th Apr 2026 by rohit kumar

A new twist has emerged in the case involving allegations of intimate harassment and forced religious conversion at the Nashik unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Nida Khan, one of the accused in this episode, is currently absconding; however, her family claims that she is in Mumbai. Furthermore, her family members have asserted that Nida Khan is pregnant and expecting her first child.

Nida Khan has filed an application for anticipatory bail in a local court in Nashik. It is believed that she is attempting to evade arrest by citing her medical condition as grounds for protection. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting continuous raids in its search for Nida. Police officials have stated that they will verify these claims made by Nida through official medical channels. Meanwhile, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has suspended Nida Khan with immediate effect.

Chief Minister Terms It a Serious Conspiracy

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis issued a strong reaction to this matter on Friday. He stated that the allegations of intimate harassment and religious persecution leveled against the Nashik TCS unit are extremely grave. The Chief Minister noted that preliminary investigations suggest these activities were being carried out under the aegis of a well-orchestrated ‘module.’ He commended the TCS management for extending their full cooperation in the investigation and for refraining from shielding the accused.

Fadnavis also informed the public that, given the sensitive nature of the case, central investigative agencies have also been apprised of the situation. The Nashik police have, thus far, registered cases based on a total of nine complaints. Female employees have alleged that between 2022 and March 2026, they were subjected to intimate harassment, stalking, and mental torture. During the course of their investigation, the police have also identified a distinct pattern of religious persecution.

What is the Full Story?

25-year-old Nida Khan began working at the TCS BPO unit in Nashik in 2021. The Nashik police are currently investigating nine complaints pertaining to intimate harassment and forced religious conversion within the workplace. The police have arrested seven employees so far. This group includes six men and one woman, who served as the HR Head.

Serious Allegations by Female Employees

The police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) stated that eight female employees have leveled allegations of mental and intimate harassment against their senior colleagues. The victims claim that they had lodged complaints with the company’s HR department, but their concerns were ignored. The entire controversy reportedly spans the period between February 2022 and March 2024.

One of the accused is alleged to have engaged in intimate relations with a female employee under the false pretext of marriage. Furthermore, there are allegations of molestation against female staff members, as well as the making of lewd comments regarding their personal lives. When the complaints reached the company’s senior management, instead of taking action, they allegedly sided with the accused. In its statement, the police noted that the charges against the accused are not limited solely to the harassment of women; they also forcibly compelled a male employee to offer Namaz (Islamic prayers). Moreover, that employee’s religious beliefs were subjected to insults. Currently, the police are conducting an in-depth investigation into the matter, and a search for the absconding accused is underway.

Concurrent with her suspension, Nida Khan’s access to the company’s internal network has been revoked. She has been instructed to return all company assets and to refrain from entering any office premises.
