After which the project can be approved in principle. Once the DPG approves the project, the Navy will approach the Defense Acquisition Council for approval of the Purchase Requirement (AON), which will be carried out under the Government for Government Plan through the US Foreign Military Sales route.
Both the Navy and other armies are most satisfied with the performance of the two Predator drones leased from the US, as it has developed awareness in the maritime domain from the Sunda Strait in Indonesia to the eastern coast of Africa.
