Donald Trump will contest the 2024 presidential election: Making the official announcement, America has to be made great

Former US President Donald Trump has announced they're to contest the 2024 presidential election. He said- 'I am announcing my candidacy for the post of President to make America great and glorious again.'

 

Earlier, Trump had submitted paperwork to the US Federal Election Committee. Donald Trump has become the first major contender to formally declare for the election. That is, in 2024, Trump may once again have a tough fight with the current President Joe Biden.

I have already said that many people will be happy if I contest

Trump made it clear at a rally in Sioux City that he was planning to enter the US presidential election to be held in 2024. He had said- To make the country safe, I can stand for re-election. All I would like to say is that you all get ready.

 

Even before this, in an interview, he had said – Many people will be happy if I contest the elections. Everyone wants me to stand in the election. My popularity is high. I am also ahead in all kinds of polls and surveys conducted on the presidential candidate.

 

Announced, but many hurdles too

 

There are many supporters of Trump, but it is difficult to say whether he will become the President for the second time. Reason- The House of Representatives impeached Trump twice. Then in 2020, he was defeated by Joe Biden of the Democratic Party.

 

Trump is accused of family business fraud, his hand in the attack on the US Capitol, trying to overturn the 2020 election, and hiding documents at Mar-a-Lago. Whose investigation is going on? If they are found guilty, they will be disqualified even if they win.

 

Apart from this, not only Biden but many candidates are ready to compete with him in 2024, including the name of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Who won a resounding victory on 8th November?

 

Nuclear documents found in Trump's house

The FBI raided former President Trump's luxurious Palm House and resort Mar-a-Ligo on August 9. Here the agents got documents related to the military and nuclear capability of other countries. On this Trump said – These documents were kept to implicate me. They want to show that I have broken the law by stealing the documents.

 

CBS News said the FBI raid at Mar-a-Ligo is related to an investigation into the US government agency's handling of the US National Archives records. This agency has the responsibility of safeguarding the records of the President. It is alleged that when Trump left the White House last year, he took many documents with him. These documents were taken to Mar-a-Lego in several large boxes. Since then, US intelligence agencies were keeping an eye on Trump and his close ones.

 

Trump's Republican Party leading in mid-term elections

According to the New York Times report, there is still a tough fight between the Republican and Democratic parties in the House of Representatives (Lower House). Trump's Republican Party is leading here. They have 216 seats, while 218 are needed for a majority. At the same time, the Democratic Party has been able to win only 205 seats.
