The terrorists who attacked the devotees were in army uniform. The terrorists sitting in the ambush started firing as soon as they came in front of the bus. Before anyone could understand anything, there was chaos on the bus. Santosh Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, who was traveling in the bus, said that they had come from Katra to Shivkhodi to visit Bhole Baba. They were returning to Katra after the darshan in the afternoon. It must have been about half an hour since the bus left Shivkhodi Dham when at one place a terrorist wearing an army uniform came straight in front of the bus.
Before anyone could understand anything, he started firing bullets. A bullet hit the driver and the bus went out of control and fell into the ditch. Even after that, the terrorists kept firing bullets on the bus. For a long time, the people on the bus were in complete panic, there was no hope of anyone surviving. Later when the rescue operation started, they felt relieved. Santosh said that he had come to visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. Later, a program was made to come to Shivkhodi, other people were also with him. He and his wife have also been injured in the attack.
