On Monday evening, Sonu Nigam finally apologized to the people of Karnataka through a post. He said that Karnataka is more important than his arrogance. He said in his recent post, "Sorry Karnataka. My love for you is more than my arrogance. I love you always."

He said that he respects Kannada songs too, but at the age of 51, he will not tolerate insult from a small child who is threatening him in front of thousands of people due to language.
