Strong wind is blowing here at a speed of 250 kmph and it is raining heavily. Because of the danger, the electricity supply of 8.5 lakh houses was stopped. About 20 lakh people have been affected by this.

 

According to reports, 2 to 7 meters high waves are rising in the coastal areas. A boat has sunk in strong waves off Stock Island. 23 people are reported missing. Cuban expatriates were on board the boat. The US Coast Guard is searching for the missing people.

 

Chief Patrol Officer Walter Schlosser said - 3 Cuban migrants swam to shore after the boat sank due to a cyclone. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. We are looking for the rest. The Category 4 storm made landfall on the West Coast of Cuba on September 27. After this, it moved towards the state of Florida.

 

Instructions to evacuate 25 lakh people, many flights canceled

 

The US government has declared a week-long emergency in the state of Florida. About 25 lakh people have also been instructed to vacate the house. According to the officials of the Meteorological Department, the storm is Category 4 and it is taking a dangerous form. Two people have been reported dead in Georgia and South Carolina.

 

About 4,000 flats have been canceled from the state of Florida. 3,200 guards of the National Security Force have been deployed in different areas of the state of Florida. Apart from this, 7,000 National Guard and relief and security agencies have also been put on high alert.
