According to The Week, a special screening was held for a select audience at Cinemark Playa Vista in Los Angeles this week. The special event reportedly attracted audiences from different age groups, ranging from 18 to 60. The report states that the initial response from attendees has been "extremely positive," with audiences praising the film's scale, visual effects, and emotional storytelling.

 

 

Why is the test being conducted?

The report further states that this screening was primarily conducted as a test to gauge audience reaction to the story, giving the filmmakers a chance to fine-tune it for a Diwali release.

 

 

The big-budget "Ramayana" will be released in two parts. The first part will release on Diwali 2026, while the second part is expected to release on Diwali 2027.
