A shelved film is being remade

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta had announced the making of the film "Captain India" with Kartik Aaryan in 2021. The poster for this film, based on a true incident, was released, but things didn't work out between Hansal, the producers, and Kartik, and he left the project.

Preparations to remake the film with new producers

Following this, the producers also withdrew, and the film was shelved. Now, there are reports that Kartik's film is back on track. According to reports from the film industry, the film is now being made with a new director and some new co-producers. Originally, the film was supposed to be produced by Rani Screwvala and Harman Baweja.

When will the shooting of Captain India begin?

Screwvala withdrew from the film. Now, producer Bhushan Kumar has come forward to support Harman in the film's production. The film will be directed by Shimit Amin, director of Ab Tak Chhappan and Chak De India. Locations have been selected for the film's shooting. Shooting is expected to begin soon.

At present, there has been no official confirmation from the makers, director, or actor. Kartik is currently busy shooting for Naagzilla.
