The number of corona infections in the country is increasing steadily. On Sunday, 18,650 new patients were found. This was the third consecutive day when the figure crossed 18 thousand. 14,303 patients recovered and 97 lost their lives. There was an increase of 4,246 active cases. Now a total of 1 lakh 85 thousand 886 patients are being treated.

 

It is a matter of concern that despite increasing cases of infection, the government is not increasing testing. Between 8 and 10 February, when 8-10 thousand cases were coming every day, then 6-7 lakh tests were being done every day. Now that the number of new infected has doubled to exceed 18 thousand, even up to 7.50 lakhs are being tested daily.

 

1.12 crore cases so far

So far more than 12 million 29 thousand people have been found infected in the country. Among them, more than 1 crore 8 lakh 80 thousand people have been cured. 1 lakh 57 thousand 890 patients died. 1 lakh 85 thousand 886 patients are currently being treated.

 

Health Minister said - Corona is about to end in India

Meanwhile, the country's Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan says that the corona in India is now on the verge of ending. He said that to succeed at this level we need to accept three things. Keep politics away from the vaccination campaign, trust the science behind the vaccine and decide that our people are vaccinated on time.

 

Corona Updates

 

Apart from Maharashtra-Punjab, there is now a record increase in corona cases in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Haryana. The governments of these states are also on alert. The central government is constantly monitoring the status of states and union territories. Also, the Center has appointed high-level teams in Maharashtra and Punjab, where new cases are being recorded every day.

 

Because of the increasing cases of Corona, the Government of Maharashtra has decided to impose restrictions in Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) from 9 am to 6 am. Minister Eknath Shinde said that the order will remain from 11 March to 4 April. There will be a complete lockdown here on the weekend. Schools, colleges, and marriage halls will remain closed during this period.

State of 6 states

 

1. Maharashtra

 

On Sunday, 11,141 people were found corona infected in the state. 6,013 people recovered and 47 died. So far, 22 lakh 19 thousand 727 people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 20 lakh 68 thousand 44 people have been cured, while 52,478 patients died. 97,983 patients are currently being treated.

 

2. Kerala

 

2,100 people were found corona infected on Sunday in the state. 4,039 people were recovered and 13 died. So far, 10 lakh 77 thousand 328 people have been infected here. Of these, 10 lakh 31 thousand 865 people have been cured, while 4,301 patients have died. 40,863 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Sunday, 429 new infections were identified in the state. 347 people recovered and 3 died. So far, 2 lakh 64 thousand 643 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 57 thousand 166 people have been cured, while 3,871 patients died. 3,606 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Gujarat

 

On Sunday, 575 people were found corona infected in the state. 459 people were recovered and one died. So far, 2 lakh 73 thousand 386 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 65 thousand 831 people have been cured, while 4415 patients died. 3,140 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Rajasthan

 

On Sunday, 176 people were found corona infected in the state. 124 people recovered. So far, 3 lakh 21 thousand 532 people have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 16 thousand 988 people have been cured, while 2,789 patients died. 1,755 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Delhi

 

In the capital Delhi, 286 people were found corona infected on Sunday. 351 people were recovered and 2 lost their lives. So far, 6 lakh 41 thousand 101 people have been infected. Of these, 6 lakh 28 thousand 377 people have been cured, while 10,921 patients have died. 1,803 patients are undergoing treatment.
