Talking about this, the film's director Vikas Bahl said, 'It is about to complete ten years since the release of Queen. A lot of people keep asking me about Queen 2. So I feel like this film was released just yesterday. However, I am happy to say that we have indeed completed our story.

Along with this, the director said, 'Many times I feel burdened by the expectations of the audience because Queen proved to be a superhit. Although I believe that the sequel will be of great benefit, I did not want to rush into it. He said that he did not want to compromise with its script. He further added, 'If I didn't feel the pressure of living up to people's expectations from a sequel, I would have made it four years ago just for the money.'
