Corona has started spreading again in the country. It could also be the sound of the fourth wave. At least the figures are pointing in that direction. In such a situation, once again everyone needs to be alert. On Tuesday, the number of corona infections in the world crossed 50 crores. The fourth wave of the corona has also knocked in 10 countries of the world. These include the US, Brazil, Germany, Australia, Russia, Italy, France, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, and Austria.

Now the figures of India are also intimidating. Within the last 28 days, 5,474 people have died in the country. Meanwhile, 40 thousand 866 people were found infected. However, it is also a matter of relief that in these four weeks, 58 thousand 158 people were also cured of the infection. According to the Union Health Ministry, Corona is uncontrollable in 29 districts of the country. That is, the positivity rate in these districts is more than 5 percent.

The situation worsens in 14 districts of Kerala, 7 districts of Mizoram

The condition is worst in 14 districts of Kerala. All these districts have a positivity rate of more than 10 percent. Meaning if 100 people are being tested, then more than 10 of them are found infected. Similarly, in seven districts of Mizoram, the positivity rate is more than 10 percent and in three districts the positivity rate is 5 to 10 percent.

The situation in Gurugram, Haryana is also worrying. The positivity rate here is 5.81%. Apart from this, there is one district each in Manipur and Odisha where the positivity rate is more than 5 percent. In Upper Siang of Arunachal Pradesh, all the people being tested are found to be infected. In Lahaul-Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, new cases are being received at the rate of 12.5%.

Corona's growth rate increased in three states

On April 11, 796 new cases of the corona were registered in the country, but there has been a big increase in the figures in three states. These include Gujarat, Delhi, and Haryana. There has been an increase of 42.4% in daily cases in Gujarat, 34.9% in Delhi, and 18.1% in Haryana.

Corona growth is zero in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, while all other states have negative growth. This means more people are recovering than new patients here. If we look at the test positivity rate, then Kerala, Manipur, Delhi, and Haryana are ahead in this. Kerala has the highest number of 2.3% out of every 100 people being found infected. The positivity rate is 1.5% in Manipur, 1.4% in Delhi, and 1.1% in Haryana. In all other states, it is below zero.

Health Ministry warns 5 states

Amidst rising cases, the Health Ministry has issued a warning for five states. It includes the names Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, and Mizoram. The ministry has asked these states to increase vigilance. The Health Secretary said that the daily positivity rate is increasing in these states, that is, the number of new corona patients found every day has increased. Because of this, the state governments should seriously review the situation and if necessary issue new guidelines regarding Covid-19.
