One Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was killed in the Jalura area of Sopore district at 10 pm and two in Kupwara in the morning. Two of the three terrorists were Pakistanis, while one was a local. On the other hand, the BSF opened fire on a drone seen in Dayaran of Kanachak on Monday night itself.
The payload attached to the drone was brought down after the firing that took place around 11 pm. The payload contained 3 magnets IEDs inside the children's tiffin box. in which the timer was set.

On the other hand, two terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kupwara at 6 am. Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar told that the code name of the killed Pakistani terrorist is Tufail. The name of the second terrorist is Ishtiaq Lone, who recently caught the terrorist path. The Pakistani terrorist was a resident of Lahore. This information has come from the documents seized by the terrorists. Two AK-56 rifles have been seized from the spot.
The name of the terrorist killed in Sopore is Hanjla, his two fled with him but left their bags there, and the documents found are being investigated. Police also seized an AK-47 and 5 magazines from Hanja.
