PM Modi Visit Varanasi: PM Modi will gift 37 development projects to the state today, will make the election conch sound in a public meeting

Today, on the second day of his visit to Kashi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift 37 projects worth Rs 19,150 crore to the people of the state. Along with this, PM will address the public meeting in Barki while trumpeting Mission-2024.
The PM will participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Sewapuri, a rural area of his parliamentary constituency. After the participants of the Kashi Sansad Sports Competition 2023 watch some live sports events, they will also interact with the winners of the event. During the program, he will also interact with the beneficiaries of various government schemes.
The Prime Minister will go to Swaraveda Mahamandir at around 10:45 am. After attending the conclusion of the Yagya here, he will inaugurate it in a public function at around 11:30 am. At around 1 pm, the Prime Minister will participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Barki village of Sewapuri. Before addressing the public meeting here, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 19,150 crore.
Section of Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor inaugurated
In line with the government's commitment to strengthen the logistics sector, Prime Minister
Narendra Modi will today dedicate the 402 km long section of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to New Bhaupur Junction.
The inauguration of the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction to the New Bhaupur Junction section is an important part of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Built for Rs 10,903 crore, this section is located on the Delhi-Howrah rail route which passes through districts of Uttar Pradesh like Chandauli, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Kanpur Nagar, and Kanpur Dehat.
This corridor connects the coal fields of Jharkhand and West Bengal, such as Eastern Coalfields Limited, Central Coalfields Limited, Bharat Coking Coal Limited, and Northern Coalfields Limited, with power plants in northern India.
Green signal to Vande Bharat
PM Modi will flag off the second Vande Bharat train connecting Varanasi to New Delhi.
